Portobello Rd is busy on a Saturday, packed with tourists and visitors wandering along the market. The shops and stalls are full of trinkets, antiques, souvenirs, clothes, records, food and various shim-shammery.

Bella Napoli, on Bishopsgate a few minutes north of Liverpool St, has reasonable pasta and excellent Italian-style thin pizzas, especially good for take-away.
